Saint Ambrose Receives 2010
International Accreditation

Saint Ambrose has received re-accreditation by the International Association of Distance Learning (IADL).

Headquartered in the United Kingdom, the IADL credentials distance-learning insitutions and programs internationally much like the DETC does in the United States.

Saint Ambrose Receives 2010 Anguillan Governmental Accreditation

Saint Ambrose College is incorporated in the Carribean country of Anguilla, a former British colony. Therefore, it was only natural for us to seek Anguillan governmental support for our degree programs. Even though distance-learning programs are not regulated in Anguilla, or most other countries for that matter, governmental accreditation lends additional credibility to any institution's programs.  This is an important development for our American students. Governmental accreditation means Saint Ambrose meets accreditation standards set by CHEA and makes our degrees "equivalent to regionally accredited degrees in the United States" (CUFCE).

Saint Ambrose Receives 2010
Degree-Granting Authority from Florida

The Commission for Independent Education, Florida Department of Education, Saint Ambrose College was granted the authority to issue undergraduate and graduate degrees in that state. Degree granting authority extends through 2010.

Saint Ambrose College - Africa
Providing scholarships to students in emerging nations of the world is an important mission of Saint Ambrose.

Because we are non-profit and faculty and staff do not accept payment for their services, Saint Ambrose is able to divert all but basic operating expenses to missionary activities around the world.

In light of that, after much planning and considerable personal risk to our staff in Africa, Saint Ambrose has launched a ground-based program in a central African country.

Ten Lic-P scholarships have been awarded to our first class of seminary students in Africa. Books and supplies have been delivered with the hopes and prayers of faculty and staff. There will be more on this story in the coming months once the safety of our staff is assured.
