ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
 
The Bachelor of Arts in Theology program is designed for students prepared for college-level course work. Candidates should either be positioning themselves for the priesthood or have an interest in Theology and Philosophy as it relates to other applications of lay ministry. Applicants to the program should complete the application form. Copies of high school or college transcripts may be sent electronically. Official institution copies may be requested.
 
 
Candidates for the Bachelor of Arts in Theology must --
1) Have a high school diploma or associate's degree.
2) Masters applicants must possess a bachelor's degree.
3) Doctoral applicants must possess a master's degree.
4) Applicants for graduate programs must provide official college transcripts and/or GRE scores satisfactory for graduate studies. These may be submitted electronically.
5) All applicants must submit an Application for Admission.
6) Request for transfer credit must be made before coursework begins. 
 
DISTANCE LEARNING POLICIES
 
The Bachelor of Arts in Theology, Masters of Arts in Theology or Faith-based Counseling, Master of Sacred Theology, as well as the Licentiate in Parish Ministry (LicP) and Doctorates in Sacred Theology and Pastoral Counseling (PhD or DPC) are designed to serve students whose circumstances make it difficult to enroll in a residential theological training program.
 
1. In their first course period, it is recommended students take only one or two courses. In subsequent semesters, four or more courses may be taken.
2. On case-by-case basis, a grade of "incomplete" may be granted by a professor. Students must finish the course work within six weeks of being granted an incomplete, or a failing grade will be assigned. Students must satisfy each course designated as "incomplete" before enrolling in other courses.
3. Students may audit a course with the permission of the professor. They are responsible for purchasing necessary study materials.
4. There is NO application fee. 
5.Textbooks are not included in the tuition cost.
6. Students must complete required coursework for their chosen program of study within a seven year period. Students resigning from the program will forfeit 50% of the tuition if more than 30 days have passed and 75% of tuition if more than 6 months have passed. Full or partial scholarships are available to qualified students.
