Accreditation in the United States
Students living in the United States should be aware Saint Ambrose College is not accredited by any agency recognized by the USDOE. In the United States, emphasis placed upon accreditation is much greater than in other countries. Students desiring programs qualifying for professional licensure or transfer to main stream U.S. universities should be aware of this fact. It is the responsibility of the individual student to establish whether or not a foreign degree will be an acceptable alternative to a traditionally-accredited U.S. program.
Degree Equivalency in the United States
California University FCE, foreign credential evaluators has examined Saint Ambrose College's program and concludes: "We can now safely state that degrees awarded by Saint Ambrose College are equivalent to the same degrees awarded by the regionally and nationally accredited colleges and universities of the United States of America." Saint Ambrose College recommends CUFCE credential evaluation to its graduates.
